Our comfortable vessel Whalesong will leave and arrive at a selected destination so you can honour & pay respect to your loved one with an ash scattering service at sea. Commemorate their life with Hervey Bay & Fraser Island as the backdrop.

When we arrive – The vessels engines will be turned off (location permitting) to allow the vessel to float in peace – If you have any speeches or a favourite song to be played – We can play it during the ceremony.

Our friendly crew believe you need time to reflect on the day and make it a memorable occasion. You are welcome to celebrate or reflect on the ceremony after the scattering as we cruise and take in the scenery.

Whalesong Vessel:

Whalesong can cater for up to 80 people. For smaller groups, we can do everything from formal seafood buffets through to a social BBQ. For larger groups, finger food is a great option as everyone can wander around the boat with the crew serving food to the guests.

Our menus are varied and comprehensive and generally cater for all tastes. For functions, we are open to suggestions on food and alcohol. Gluten free and special diets can be catered for, as long as we have enough notice.
