NB: As of April 14th, 2022, you DON'T need be double vaccinated (or have a medical exemption) to enjoy this experience.

The Hervey Bay Sunset cruise takes you into the spectacular pristine waterways between Fraser Island and the mainland to look out for our resident dolphins, turtles and dugongs (sea cows) as well as enjoy the vibrant Sunset over Hervey Bay.
Our selection of hot and cold local seafood and non-seafood canapes is served to you on deck, so you don’t miss any of the views. The night continues as we show you the sparkle of the city lights along the 13 kilometres of the Beachfront that is The Charlton Esplanade. We cruise past Hervey Bay’s monumental Urangan Pier and then admire the brilliant glow of the lights that make up the Harbour precinct. All this with your favourite drink in hand. All you need to do is relax and enjoy.
*Please note: this is NOT a dinner cruise. We serve a selection of delicious canapés so is generally sufficient to curb the appetites of most. However, if you're used to a big meal at night, this won't be enough as a dinner for you and we urge you to book at one of the local marina restaurants for dinner afterwards.

In order to enjoy the sunset out on the water, we need to depart at different times throughout the season due to sun setting later in Summer and earlier in Winter.
November - March we return at 7pm. From April - June we return at 6pm. Cruise duration is 1.5 hours.
We're surveyed for 100 people but only take up to 50 guests for guest comfort. Generally, we have 20 people, on average so there's always plenty of space on the boat.
Whalesong is a wheelchair accessible vessel, with ramps for embarking/disembarking, extra wide decks for manoeuvrability and a wheelchair accessible toilet on board.
No, we have you covered. We provide 5 x courses of canapes (hot and cold seafood and non-seafood items) which our friendly crew will bring around to you as you enjoy the views outside.
Yes. With at least 48 hours notice, we can cater to most dietary needs.
Yes. We provide drinking water and all hot drinks. ONE complimentary juice, soft drink, beer, wine or pre-mixed spirit will also be provided when you board. Additional drinks are available for purchase on board.
Yes. We have no minimum or maximum age on this cruise. As the cruise is only 1.5 hours, it's not too long for children.
Yes. There's plenty of room on board for prams and strollers.
