"The best service we have ever received from any tourist company. We decided to use this company as they had so many good reviews but its always a gamble when you haven't done something before. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. We had two little ones with us on board and they treated them so kindly and made sure they were safe at all times...the staff onboard went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best experience. The boat wasn't over full and I felt very safe with all the COVID measures they had in place."

With low passenger numbers on this modern and luxurious vessel, we provide ultimate viewing and seating space for all.  We have various tours and packages to suit your needs.  Whalesong is a family friendly and wheelchair accessible vessel also.

Value for money...

We know a Whalesong's boat tour is not the cheapest on the market in Hervey Bay; nor is it designed to be.  Our product inclusions and quality all come at a price, yet still represent incredible value for money....even the most skeptical are pleasantly surprised.  Also, our service standards are some of the highest you'll receive in Hervey Bay.  From the initial call/email with one of our friendly office team to the engaging crew and courtesy bus driver to the crew on board, we are there for you every step of the way, ensuring you'll create wonderful memories to last a lifetime.  Don't just listen to us though, please feel free to check out some of our online reviews and recommendations.

We're proud to say we have been recognised with Advanced Ecotourism Certificate from Ecotourism Australia - you can be rest assured, you're minimising your impact when travelling on a boat tour with Whalesong Cruises in Hervey Bay.  Find out some of our green initiatives on our ECO page.

Whalesong Cruises Hervey Bay
📣 The night before the official start of our whale search cruises, we have an important announcement to make.Whalesong Cruises is now officially an Accessible Tourism accredited business in THREE areas: wheelchairs and scooters, limited mobility and cognitive/autism, through the National Quality Tourism Framework. 😊👏We are extremely proud to have gained these accreditations which show our dedication and commitment to providing incredible experiences to people regardless of their ability and needs. We are also one of the first tourism businesses in Australia to have gained these accreditations/accolades. A big round of applause to the entire team who make this happen. 👏The are three additional accreditations which we’re very close to completing soon too. In the meantime though, we also want to introduce you to our newest crew Jimmy.Jimmy came and volunteered with us a few times last year as part of our ’crew for a day’ program - an opportunity for those who have an intellectual disability to come see what it’s like to be a crew member on Whalesong. He’s such a hard worker and brings great joy to everyone on board. So much so, we invited Jimmy to work with us as a paid employee. He officially started with us last week and is so wonderfully keen and proud to be part of team Whalesong. 😊 He’s also helping out with our ‘whales for everyone’ VR whale watching. Bringing whales to those who can’t come to them.Check out more about the whales for everyone program here.whalesong.com.au/about/whalesforeveryone/#whalesongcruises #whalesherveybay #accessibletravel #ecotourism #familybusiness #whalesforeveryone@visitfrasercoast@queensland@theqtic ... Whalesong Cruises Hervey Bay
Behind the scenes action:As a wheelchair accessible boat, we think it's important to demonstrate the accessibility of our cruises, the marina and how our crew look after everyone.Last week, we hired a wheelchair and wheelie walker to film how to get in and around our office, down to the boat and on to the boat. It's to help alleviate any concerns there may be for our potential guests. We understand that not all experiences marketed as accessible, actually ARE accessible. Doug wasn't meant to be taking the wheelchair down the ramp (as he mentions in this video). Hence, the inappropriate footwear. 🤣Final video is on our website on the page dedicated to accessibility.whalesong.com.au/about/accessibility👵🧓 These stunning models are Bec's parents 😁👩‍🦽👨‍🦼Wheelchair and wheelie walker courtesy of Disability Assistance Hervey Bay#whalesongcruises #whalesherveybay #ecotourism #accessibility #accessibletravel #familybusiness ... Best experience. I highly recommend. Friendly and experienced staff, the boat is clean, spacious and everyone gets a... good view, there's no doubt about that. This company is very respectful of the whales and other marine life. The captain sure knows where the whales hangout and we have seen beautiful ones, of all size. They were relaxed and playful in their element. They were very curious and came up close to the boat to say hi. We even spotted dolphins during this tour. What a great experience, I cannot wait to go back again.read more

It’s a great half day trip with plenty of whales to watch, to see them flapping around is just a magic. The... knowledgeable guide has a really good eye for spotting them, all the time points out the right location of them and excellent talks about whales as well. Highly recommend this half day trip.read more
